Supporting projects and programmes in the Isimangaliso region in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) is where our journey began, near Phinda Private Game Reserve lodges. In 1992, Wild Impact was founded by &Beyond who were establishing Phinda Private Game Reserve at the time. The shared strategy launched then, continues to anchor this benchmark partnership today.
Our partnership leverages the strengths of the two organisations, with the local &Beyond team directly supporting the work of our local project team and our community partners. We believe that conservation is best achieved by ensuring that the benefits of conservation are shared by the communities that are the stewards of Africa’s conservation landscapes and seascapes. Our work has a focus on conserving ecosystems, future foundations, tomorrow’s leaders and thriving communities.
