Wild Impact in partnership with &Beyond started with the Emurutoto Community in 2010. In 2018, in collaboration with local communities, government and stakeholders, the Emurutoto Health Centre was established, providing surrounding communities with accessible and affordable healthcare.
Emurutoto Primary School was established in 1973 for children within the Masai Mara Conservation Area. As of 2024, the school supports 1,347 students (650 boys and 697 girls) with 28 teachers and 10 support staff. Significant developments have included boarding facilities and teachers’ accommodation.
