Adjacent to the north-eastern corner of the Serengeti National Park and the Kenya border, the environment, wildlife and rural communities of the Northern Serengeti | Pololeti landscape lie at the sharp end of flood and drought seasonal variances compounded by climate change.
Protecting wilderness areas and supporting the sustainable development of local communities go hand in hand. In this respect, we are supporting the endeavours of Wildlife Nature Institute’s Serengeti giraffe protection programme as a foundational initiative.
Wild Impact has worked alongside &Beyond with partner communities in Tanzania since 2000. Healthcare and education are agreed strategic priorities based on limited regional infrastructure. Collaborative projects are enabling access to primary healthcare support, water security solutions, and expanding educational facilities to support quality education and future opportunities for pre-school, primary and secondary school learners.
