Wild Impact started working with the Endashangwet Community in 2014. This partner community, located in Tanzania’s Karatu District, is home to over 13,500 people who primarily rely on subsistence farming. The community faces significant challenges, including limited access to educational resources. Since 2007, Wild Impact and &Beyond have worked collaboratively to expand Mayoka Primary School and support Chaenda Secondary School, enhancing educational opportunities and future prospects for youth. Through the Lake Manyara Landscape Impact Strategy, Wild Impact collaborates with local leaders and regional stakeholders to align community development with the preservation of Lake Manyara’s ecosystems, fostering sustainable economic growth.
