Wild Impact in partnership with & Beyond started working with the Sero Community in 2020. Sero, Ololosokwan and Mairowa are rural communities in Tanzania’s Ololosokwan Ward, bordering Kenya and the eastern Serengeti National Park. The community’s primary livelihood is pastoralism, with many residents raising cattle, goats, and sheep. Significant regional challenges include limited access to healthcare and education. The Sero Clinic project in collaboration with this partner community is supporting accessible and affordable healthcare, underlining the relevance of conservation to meaningful community benefits.
