Dayimani High School is located in Gottenburg. The school’s infrastructure includes 10 classrooms (two of which are mobile), three blocks of ablution facilities with four cubicles each (two for girls and one for boys), a kitchen, and an administration office. However, this setup falls short of the Department of Basic Education’s standards, which recommend a maximum of 35 learners per classroom and adequate facilities to support both academic and extracurricular activities. Recognising these challenges, Wild Impact began collaborating with the Gottenburg community in 2017.
