Mairowa Primary School is located in the village of Mairowa, within the Ngorongoro District of Tanzania’s Arusha Region.Despite its pivotal role in the community, the school faces significant challenges in meeting the Tanzanian Ministry of Education’s standards. Overcrowding is a pressing issue, with some classrooms accommodating more than 100 students, far exceeding the recommended student-to-teacher ratio.Additionally, the school lacks adequate infrastructure, including sufficient classrooms, sanitation facilities, and teacher accommodations, which are essential for providing a conducive learning environment. Recognizing these challenges, Wild Impact has been actively involved with Mairowa Primary School since 2010.
