The 26 400 ha Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage site in Tanzania, globally renowned for its stunning landscapes, biodiversity, Maasai community heritage and archaeological history, including early hominid footprints from 3.6 million years ago.
Our partner communities are the Mokilal and Msigiyo communities situated within the conservation area, and the Endashangwet, Changarawe and Kilimamoja communities situated on the eastern boundary of the conservation area.
Wild Impact has worked alongside &Beyond with these partner communities since 2000, with recent projects including support for the introduction and management of White Rhino into Ngorongoro Crater and significant investments in the development of Kilimamoja and Chaenda Secondary Schools.
