The 1 500 ha Pololeti Game Reserve is part of the Loliondo Game Controlled Area, within the extended Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It provides an important game corridor to the eastern side of the Masai Mara landscape in Kenya. Wild Impact has supported the sustainable development of its three partner communities associated with this landscape, since 2000. These communities – Ololosokwan, Mairowa and Sero are all traditional Maasai communities, with deep traditional heritage and pastoral livelihood roots.
Over the past 2 decades, Wild Impact has provided significant support for the development of the Ololosokwan and Sero Clinics, and Ololosokwan and Mairowa Primary Schools, and continues to do so. It is also working towards supporting implementing Cameras for Conservation, and food and water security projects in these communities.
