Wild Impact is currently implementing the Stars in Training programme in the Greater iSimangaliso, Greater Kruger, Okavango Delta and Lake Manyara landscapes, as well as the Mnemba Island Seascape. andBeyond are supporting Stars in Training across the majority of their lodge operations.
In Botswana, Tanzania and Kenya, Wild Impact and &Beyond has been providing and hosting various youths. In FY26 year-to-date, work placements have been provided for more than 20 youths in the Okavango Delta, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, Pololeti, Mnemba Island regions. Placement profiles range across CRC & Echo facilitators, maintenance, housekeeping, culinary operations and many others.
The programme outcome is that workplace support is provided for the equivalent of 10% of school leavers annually in our partner communities, with 60% finding employment within 3 years.
