The school was established by the local community to provide primary education to children in the area, reducing the need for students to travel long distances to attend school. Initially, the school faced challenges with inadequate infrastructure, including insufficient classrooms and lack of essential facilities.
Over the years, efforts have been made to improve the school’s infrastructure to meet the standards set by Botswana’s Ministry of Education. These improvements include the construction of additional classrooms, sanitation facilities, and provision of learning materials. Recognising the need for further development, Wild Impact has been actively involved in supporting Sexaxa Primary School since 2020.
